Rhaeticosaurus

A small-bodied Late Triassic plesiosaurian represented by holotype LWL-MFN P 64047; its articulated anatomy and phylogenetic analysis extend the sampled plesiosaurian record into the Rhaetian without making the specimen a direct ancestor.
